The third annual Nat Diego festival focused on natural wine takes place June 27 – 29 at various locations around San Diego. The grand tasting is Saturday, June 29 at Bread & Salt in Barrio Logan. Local winery Charlie & Echo has taken steps to mitigate their impact on the environment. The company donates to the Bonneville Environmental Foundation for carbon offsets, and now they’re a member of the 1% for the Planet organization (joining local kombucha makers JuneShine and brewery Pure Project).
Charlie & Echo’s soon-to-be neighbor Preston’s Ginger Beer is continuing work on their Miralani Makers District tasting room, hoping for a late July opening. Stay tuned to their Facebook page for more updates.
